Nescafe Harajuku in Japan is being turned into a nap cafe, where people can rent out one of ten beds to catch up on some sleep.
“Each bed will come with a smartphone-controlled Phillips ‘Hue’ light, set to ‘relax’ mode, and a Sony Hi-Res corresponding walkman and headphone set.”
At the beginning of the nap experience customers will be served a decaf coffee, and then at the end of the nap, a caffeinated coffee will be delivered.
The nap cafe is just a temporary setup inspired by World Sleep Day. It’s being sponsored by Nescafe and France Bed Co. which donated the $9,000 mattresses.
