Japan has previously made cat cafes pretty popular, but now they’ve stepping things up a notch and launching a cat cafe train. Similar concept, just on wheels.
The idea was a collaboration between Kitten Café Sanctuary and the Yoro Railway Co. Ltd. They offered a two and a half hour train ride with 30 rescue kittens. Tickets were available for 40 people which sold out quickly on the two train rides that were offered.
They have not yet announced whether or not they will be doing the rides again, but it seems likely. (Or at least likely that someone else will soon hop on the trend.)
