Hyatt has acquired a wellness brand called Exhale, which currently has 25 store locations across the U.S. and the Caribbean. This news comes shortly after the news that Hyatt also purchased the wellness group Miraval.
Some of the Exhale locations are within hotels and airports. Their services include yoga studios, zen lounges, and boutiques that sell wellness items. Hyatt’s plan is to bring more of the brand into their own hotels.
Hyatt’s global head of capital strategy, franchising, and select service, Steve Haggerty spoke out about the deal.
“We know our guests demand (wellness offerings) and want that at home and when they travel. So our acquisitions of Miraval and exhale are components of an overall strategy to deliver wellness to our guests and our colleagues.”
