Hawaiin Airlines has teamed up with Walt Disney Studios to deck out a few of their planes in decals from the newest Disney film Moana.
Peter Ingram, the chief commercial officer for Hawaiian Airlines, released a statement.
“At Hawaiian Airlines, we are modern navigators, carrying guests across vast oceans to experience the unparalleled beauty of our home and richness of our culture. In important ways, Moana’s voyage of discovery parallels that of our guests’ own travel adventures, and we’re pleased to work with Disney to take this wonderful story to the skies.”
The first Airbus A330 plane decorated with Moana decals was revealed at the Honolulu International Airport, and the next two designs will be revealed next month. The first design features the main characters from the film which include demigod Maui (voiced by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson), the teenager Moana (voiced by Hawaiian actress Auli‘i Cravalho), and her friends Heihei the rooster and Pua the pig.
