Grenada becomes the most recent place to make a deal with Airbnb to offer up rental accommodations through the site.
The Grenada Tourism Authority said that the move was made as “part of ongoing efforts to maximize exposure of the tri-island destination of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique,” saying that it was “a streamlined framework for the collaboration between the GTA and Airbnb.”
Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen, the country’s minister of tourism explained further.
“Solidifying a strategic alliance with a global entity like Airbnb demonstrates our commitment to strengthening Grenada’s tourism sector by tapping into new segments of the industry.”
