A $137 million expansion on Graceland has been completed, making it the biggest expansion since the location opened in 1982. The expansion was finished shortly before the 40th anniversary of Elvis’ death.
The expansion including building a 450 room hotel and a 200,000-square-foot campus that holds museums, restaurants, shops, and a soundstage.
One of the museums called Elvis: The Entertainer features items from Elvis’ career such as clothing that he wore while he performed. The Private Presley exhibit features items from the time that Elvis spent serving in the Army. Then there is also Presley Motors and Presley Cycles where some of Elvis’ cars are on display.
Everything is now open to the public and tickets to the complex cost $57.50.
