JetBlue is trying out something new and offering to match frequent flier statuses from other airlines. So travelers who already have reached an elite status on another airline can now use that status on JetBlue as well.
JetBlue’s match program will be available for the next month and upon acceptance will open passengers up to their True Blue program for the rest of the year. Passengers who have become loyalty members of Virgin America, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Southwest Airlines, and United can show proof of their elite status along with their application.
When the application is approved they will be let into the program. From there, there is an immediate opportunity to extend the invitation past the single year. Passengers who earn 3,750 base flight points within 90 days will get their inclusion extended for 2018 as well.
