A gin company called ILoveGin is looking for an intern to essentially travel around Europe for six months and drink a bunch of gin. The company runs a subscription gin club where people get regular deliveries of the stuff to their home. The company wants someone out and about testing new gins and finding the good stuff for them.
The internship is a paid one, and would require two days a week from whoever is chosen for the position. Within those two days they will visit one to two gin distilleries in either Edinburgh, London, or Rotterdam. In addition to tasting stuff, the intern will also contribute to the company’s blog and social media account to update people about what they have found along the way.
Naturally the competition for the position will be high since as far as internships goes it sounds a lot more fun than filing papers or running coffees. Of course there is however all of the potential hangovers to deal with once the two days of drinking are up each week.
The website states that the ideal candidate will be a “MASSIVE gin lover” who likes “meeting and impressing new people.”
