Geneva will soon have the impressive sounding flying taxi available in Lac Léman. The flying taxis went through a trial run in Paris over the summer and is expected to become a permanent option for getting around in Geneva.
The taxis have zero emissions so they’re very eco-friendly. Each can hold up to four passengers in addition to the driver, and they can go as far as the next town over.
The company that is providing the flying water taxis is called SeaBubbles. The taxis are powered by solar energy and can travel 18.5 miles per hour at a flying height of two feet above the water.
They have also considered bringing the flying taxi to cities such as New York City, Tokyo, and Bangkok.
