Disney’s Magic Kingdom is rolling out some new security measures by moving current security checkpoints and introducing some new ones. The park intends for the changes to cut down on some of the current wait times.
A spokesperson for Disney released a statement about the changes.
“As part of an ongoing effort to enhance the arrival experience for guests at the entrance to Magic Kingdom park, we have relocated some of our bag checks and metal detectors to the transportation and ticket center, and the monorail stations at Disney’s Contemporary resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Polynesian Village resort.”
These security line changes are similar to ones that have recently been put into effect at the Disneyland Resort in California.
