Disneyland Paris (aka the formerly called EuroDisney), will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on April 12, 2017, and the park is currently preparing for the big day.
Some of the preparations include giving makeovers to the biggest attractions in the park, which is a part of their Experience Enhancement Program. This includes sprucing up some of the rides, making renovations at some of the hotels, and adding a new show at their Animagique Theatre.
The park will throw an official 25th anniversary celebration with shows and decorations that pay homage to the Paris location in particular. The anniversary will also mark the reopening of the Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attraction, and the Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain makeover of the classic Space Mountain ride.
Also in 2017, the park will be adding on a new Parade Disney Stars on Parade. Mickey Mouse will be hosting the Happy Anniversary Disneyland Paris show with all of his Disney friends, and the Disney princesses will get their own show with The Starlit Princess Waltz at the Royal Castle Stage.
Another new event will be the Disney Illuminations show, which will be conducted by Mickey Mouse onto Sleeping Beauty Castle and feature lights, projections, and special effects.
