Disney World is currently testing out four luxury cabanas that would be available for park guests to rent for $649 a day.
The cabanas can accommodate up to eight people and contain couches, tables and chairs, charging stations for keeping the cell phones up and running, and lockers for keeping valuables safe. They also come stocked with food and drinks, Mickey Mouse ears, reserved viewing for fireworks and parades, and an ice cream delivery. Extra food can be delivered for a charge.
Cabanas like these are commonly found in water parks but are a newer idea at theme parks. Although they’re an added cost on top of the already pricey entrance fees the draw is easy to see. A day at a Disney park can be exhausting and disorganized, so having a home base where relaxing and recharging is possible is pretty appealing.
Guests can book the cabanas now during the trial period, after which the park will determine if they will be a permanent addition.
