In April Disney started offering wedding options for die hard fans who want to wed at the Magic Kingdom, but so far the chance to tie the knot within the Disney gates has been during regular park hours. Now the Magic Kingdom is rolling out the option to marry after the park closes as well.
The opportunity to wed at Disney World is not going to come cheap, but the ceremony of course will something to be remembered. The options allow for up to 300 guests, and the actual vows take place right in front of Cinderella’s castle as one would expect. The dance portion of the evening can take place in Fantasyland. It’s also possible to add on extras like fireworks, and even a ride in a horse drawn carriage.
The packages for such a wedding start at $180,000. For the wedding options that go down during the regular park hours, those packages start at the much less but still steep price of $75,000. A standard 930AM ceremony includes room for 100 guests, and it’s for the ceremony alone with no options for the reception. Unless of course, your reception will be to ride some rides with your guests along with everyone else at Disney World that day.
