Disney has introduced “Minnie Vans” as a cute play on mini vans. The vans will be used to transport guests around the Walt Disney World Resort. They’re painted red with white polka dots similar to the dress that is worn by Minnie Mouse.
Now guests that are staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts can call up one of the vans using their smartphone. They each hold seven passengers and come can come equipped with car seats, making them more convenient for families than an Uber or Lyft might be.
Walt Disney Parks & Resorts chairman Bob Chapek released a statement about the new option.
“Since we’re all about exceeding guest expectations and making every aspect of your vacation uniquely Disney, we’re creating a new point-to-point transportation service in a way that only Disney can do.”
