Delta Airlines has announced that starting next month they will be offering free food once again on certain flights.
The first round of free meals will roll out March 1 for passengers on flights between JFK airport and LAX and SFO. On April 24, they will then start serving ten of the other major domestic transcontinental markets.
They are planning on changing the menu regularly and offering seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. To start they will be offering breakfast choices of a honey maple breakfast sandwich, a continental breakfast, or fruit and cheese plate, and the rest of the day they will get to choose from a mesquite-smoked turkey combo, a Luvo Mediterranean whole grain veggie wrap, or the fruit and cheese plate.
