The longest flights get switched up every now and again as new flights are added. They’re pretty long…but they don’t require any layovers.
Qantas recently announced that they will be launching a flight from Perth to London which will cover 9,009 miles in 17 hours, making it the third longest flight out there.
The longest flight in the world is currently New Delhi to San Francisco on Air India. It was recently changed to cover a further distance that ends up saving some time. The flight covers 9,400 miles and takes 14.5 hours.
Emirates has a flight from London to Dubai that covers 8,820 miles in around 17 hours, and Qantas has a flight from Dallas to Sydney that covers 8,577 miles in 16 hours.
Singapore Air has plans to bring back a flight from Singapore to New York, which would cover 10,252 miles in 19 hours.
