A company called DNA Unwrapped is trying to create the perfect vacation by using DNA swabs to plan the itinerary. Each DNA test result provides a genealogical makeup and matches a person to one of 80 different profiles.
When a customer is matched with their DNA profile, then they can move on to the step where they book a trip using the company’s travel service which is called Travel Unwrapped.
According to the company, this is done by booking travel to “specific areas or regions within the results excite you and design your journey around this, immersing you within the culture of the country and allowing you to connect to your heritage.”
There are different budget and accommodation styles, and it’s even possible to book a guide for the whole trip.
