For those people living in the Midwest who want to see the area from a more scenic vantage point, Loren French has something you might be interested in. The Vail, Colorado based entrepreneur has just opened the region’s first air taxi service for those people looking to get around the state with some extra style.
French, who own a local plane tourism company called Alpine Flight, a company that provides air tours and flying lessons to the general public, has just expanded his list of services. Unlike the region’s only other air taxi service, which is based in Telluride, Colorado, French’s Alpine Flight taxi service provides smaller (read: more affordable) aircraft in which passengers can get around the state with ease.
French’s Piper Seneca — the six-seat plane he uses to taxi passengers around — is a model that’s renowned for its safety record and performance. French’s taxi service can reduce the amount of travel time by as much as 80 percent in some cases, and at a reasonable price compared to commercial airline tickets.
You don’t necessarily need to be located in Colorado, either. So long as you’re close to a private airport (and you got the dough), French can get you anywhere you need to go with relative ease.
