Chicago will now be getting the world’s largest Starbucks. The Reserve Roastery will be open in 2019 and located on the corner of North Michigan Avenue and East Erie Street. It will span 43,000 feet and be four stories tall.
The company’s executive chairman Howard Schultz released a statement about the spot, which will offer unique drinks, hard to find brews, and even an on-site bakery.
“Chicago is a city of neighborhoods, so we took our time to find an incredible space to match the unprecedented coffee experience our premium Roastery will offer. To be located on one of the best-known retail streets in the world is a proud moment for all of us and we can’t wait to bring Chicago and the world a coffee experience worthy of their most premier real estate.”
The area of Chicago where the Starbucks is being built welcomed 54.1 million visitors last year and is expected to continue increasing in numbers.
