Chicago will be hosting a Harry Potter wine and dinner night in October, which will be held on two different nights at the the City Winery. The event is called “Expecto! A Harry Potter Wine Dinner,” and while the details about what the dinner might be are light, they do make it sound like a very good time.
“Join us as we travel through the Wizarding World with a 4-coursed pairing menu based on the Hogwarts House’s of Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, & Gryffindor.”
The first night of the dinner is scheduled for October 24, and it sold out so quickly that they added on a second night on the 25th.
The event will cost $85 per person, and lasts from 7 to 9 PM. It also promises to deliver big time.
“With a dash of mystery and a dollop of creativity, we will conjure up a prixe-fixe meal that not even ‘Obliviate’ will make you forget.”
Chicago’s City Winery is different than many in the sense that it serves quite bit of food, where some wineries stick with wine and some snacks. They have a full restaurant that seats 100 people and offers views of the winery, as well as has 14 different wines on tap at any given time.
