It was previously reported that the Cabin Crew for British Airways was planning a strike over the Christmas holiday, but now the strike has been called off.
The initial reasoning for the strike had to do with the cabin crew receiving lower wages than other employees at the company, and apparently, they have been given a new offer that the union will now vote on.
Naturally, the new offer will help reduce a lot of upset for the company, as a strike during the busy holiday travel time could have caused quite a few issues. Although it doesn’t sound like everyone is getting along great quite yet.
British Airways has called the union that s representing the cabin crew “calculated and heartless.”
