The Beekman in New York has now opened private suites that cover an entire floor on their own. The Beekman was built in what used to be called the Temple Court Building.
That building was one of Manhattan‘s first ever skyscrapers when it opened in 1883. The new usage of the building still manages to retain a lot of that older charm.
The suites are available for $6,500 per night so they aren’t cheap, but it is a rare situation in New York to find that sort of privacy within the city. Getting to the suites requires taking an elevator the top floor of the hotel and then a private staircase past that point.
Once on the rooftop terrace area, there are two different suites that cover two different floors. The view from the rooftop area faces both the Freedom Tower and the Hudson River.
