Alaska Airlines is planning an expansion that will include hiring 2,300 new employees in 2017. The front line jobs will be split between Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.
At the moment the airline has predicted that they will be hiring 300 new pilots, 900 flight attendants, 600 reservation agents, and 500 service agents. People without experience are welcome to apply since 2,000 of those jobs don’t require any prior knowledge of the industry.
Laura Fowler, the brand’s Managing Director Talent Acquisition & Inclusion spoke about the opportunity.
“This is an exciting time for our airlines – we are growing and that means more new job opportunities in the communities we serve. Our team is on the lookout for people who want to be a part of a great culture and help create an airline people love.”
