An airport hotel in Japan is offering up nap pods for some quick and restorative shut eye opportunities. The Nine Hours hotel is a chain that has been around since 2009, offering people stays from one to nine hours.
At the hotel $44 will get you access to a private pod, as well as jammies to borrow, and access to their lounge and restrooms. It’s also possible just to rent shower access for $7.
The hotel has five different locations in Narita Airport, Kyoto, Sendai, Shinjuku-North in Tokyo, and a location in Kanda, Tokyo that is only open to women.
The location design is minimal and relies on drawings instead of words to direct the international travelers who tend to use the space.
