A U.K. airline has decided to reward people for being nice. The budget airline called Monarch will start offering upgrades to people who are nice on the phone when they call their company.
The catch is that no would will be calling the call center to fix their reservation unless there’s an issue with the reservation, so it’s not going to be an option for everyone. That being said if a customer does have an issue, they’ll have a chance to make it extra right.
Nils Christy, the chief operating officer at Monarch released a statement about the opportunity.
“We are often described as the nicer airline and holiday company and we pride ourselves on this. Our customer services staff are already nice – now they can reward those who are positively nice to them too.”
