Airbnb has rolled out a new feature for business travelers. Users can now search Business Travel Ready (BTR) on the site to find appropriate listings more easily.
The BTR listings will have some sort of a desk or workspace, wi-fi, and a flexible 24-hour check-in policy. The listings will include full sized houses where business teams can stay together.
To access one of the 150,000 BTR listings, users must register as a business traveler and attach a work email to their account.
According to the Global Business Travel Association, over $290 billion was spent last year on U.S. business travel, and that number is expected to go up four percent this year. Airbnb expects their business users to quadruple in numbers.
The company first launched its business travel division in 2014 and had 500 companies sign up within the first 24 hours. These days there are more than a quarter million companies using it from 230 countries.
