Airbnb will be offering up a free stay in a transparent geodesic dome in Bend, Oregon to watch the solar eclipse which takes place later this month. The dome comes with an observation deck and telescopes, as well as National Geographic Explorers. Astrophysicist Dr. Jedidah Isler and science journalist Babak Tafreshi will be on hand to teach along the way.
Not only that, but on the day of the eclipse August 21, the guests will be sent on a flight to the path of totality. On the two hour flight, the eclipse will be visible by more than a longer than what can be seen on the ground.
The Airbnb contest starts on Tuesday and involves answering a question with a creative answer. The contest will be open until Thursday.
