France is experiencing some air traffic control strikes that are leading to many flight cancellations all over the country.
So far the strikes have caused cancellations at the Brest Bretagne Airport, Bordeaux–Merignac Airport, Aerodrome d’Aix en Provence, Nice Cote d’Azur International Airport, and Marseille Provence Airport.
The strike began on Monday is expected to last four days. There were 375 flights canceled on Monday and over 250 flights canceled on Tuesday. In the southern region of the country about 25 percent of flights have been impacted, and in the western portion, it’s closer to 33 percent.
Anyone traveling to or from France this week should be aware of the potential that flights could be delayed if not completely canceled.
