Air France decided to start offering their own gum on certain flights. La gomme mâcher as it’s being called comes in the two flavors of pistachio-macaroon and crème brûlée.
They’re offering the gum to help with the pressure that occurs while flying. Chewing gum is one of the best ways to relieve pressure and “pop” the ears to get rid of that common discomfort. Of course, you don’t have to chew specially flavored gum to get the same effect, any old gum will do.
The gum will be available on flights that leave from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle and heading towards Los Angeles or San Francisco.
