It’s not entirely surprising that different age groups have different travel styles, but there are some distinct differences. A recent study done by Expedia aimed to pinpoint differences.
They found that the most adventurous travelers of the world are those from Generation Z…as in those people who were born after 1994. Members of Generation Z are the most likely to choose an international vacation, as well as the most likely to camp or use a timeshare of some sort. This group is also the most likely to be traveling on a budget.
Millenials are the group that is most likely to opt for an all-inclusive package as a part of their travel plans. They’re also the most likely to spend their vacation outdoors.
Baby boomers have the fewest financial concerns, and they’re the most likely to start with a destination in mind when they plan a trip. Visiting friends and family is at the top of their list of reasons to hit the road.
