2. The Pohutu Geyser
If you make the trek out to Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley, Rotorua, you’ll be able to come face to face with the Pohutu Geyser. The hot spring blows out columns of water and steam up to twenty times a day. While you’re waiting for it to do what it does best, don’t forget to look around and enjoy the wildlife, too. You’re bound to spot a Kiwi bird off in the distance!
