The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has announced that the mobile passport app can now be used at Arizona’s Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This brings the total to 22 airports where it can be used.
The app allows U.S. citizens and Canadian travelers to submit their passport information prior to their travel dates to speed up the process.
Luz Galarza, the CBP port director at Phoenix airport said the agency is “committed to improving the international travel experience by offering new and innovative technology to streamline the arrival process.
“Through our partnership with the City of Phoenix, travelers arriving at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will have another processing option to use that has been proven to reduce wait times without compromising our important border security mission.”
