Uber has added a new feature that will store saved places that users frequently ride to. The ability to bookmark locations will also extend to the opportunity to bookmark places that they would like to go in the future.
Riders will be able to add new destinations to their list while they are in route. When searching for the list later, users will first choose “Where to?” and then select “more saved places.”
Other companies have been doing similar things. Google recently rolled out a list option within their map service so that people can share locations or destinations ideas with their friends. The options to have locations stored just takes these mapping and rideshare options that much more convenient than they already are.
