Australia has not yet passed the law allowing gay marriage and Airbnb felt like they might be able to use their voice to help. The company released a video about being able to marry who you love.
The video also debuted their Acceptance Rings, which were designed in all black by Marc Newson as a “symbol of the need to ‘close the gap’ in marriage equality.”
Airbnb’s CEO Brian Chesky made a statement about the Until We All Belong campaign.
“Openness and belonging are at the heart of Airbnb — it’s at the core of what we do every day…This is an opportunity for people to show their support for marriage equality — not just those within the LGBTQI+ community, but for anyone to make their support for a brother, sister, parent, friend or loved one known.”
