A British Airways flight was forced to stay grounded this week after it was discovered that there was a mouse on board. The plan was set to fly between London Heathrow and San Francisco at the time.
They were forced to remove everyone from the plane and put them onto a new plane. Rodents are a big problem on planes since they tend to chew through important electrical wires. And then, of course, there’s the whole hygiene thing.
The passengers ended up being delayed for about four hours. A spokesperson for the airline said that:
“With service and prices this good, we know almost everyone wants to fly with us to San Francisco…but on this occasion there was one very small customer who we had to send back to the gate. We are sorry for the delay.”
