Jimmy Buffet fans have something to celebrate because a Margaritaville inspires retirement community is in the works. Latitude Margaritaville will be located in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The $1 billion project has already gone into production and the sales office will open in the fall. Upon completion, the community will have 6,900 homes, walkable neighborhoods, a fitness center, access to the beach, a pool and spa, and signature Margaritaville food and drinks.
Access to purchasing a piece of the village will be limited to people aged 55 and older to ensure that it is, in fact, a retirement community.
The Margaritaville company has already created restaurants, hotels, and vacation resorts.
