The rainy winter that California has been getting this year means that amazing wildflower displays are blooming all over the state as well.
The Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is one area that has announced that there are a lot of flowers to be seen. The park made an announcement this week.
“Good rains in December and January have annual plants germinating in the flower fields north of town, and along trails in western canyons. Desert lily plants are springing up in many locations.”
Ernie Cowan, the president of the Anza-Borrego Foundation spoke out about it as well.
“Germination is happening. If you drive through parts of the desert, you’ll see carpets of green. Plants are growing, and growing well.”
Another popular spot to see lots of wildflowers will be Joshua Tree.
