In December the restaurant Hawai Adda opened inside of a retired plane in India. The Airbus A320 is located in Ludhiana and contains a vegan eatery, bakery, and cafe.
A businessman found the inspiration for the project from the plane itself. Parampreet Singh Luthra who is a hospitality professional behind the project explained.
“We were inspired by the Maharaja Express and wanted to create something similar inside a plane.”

The plane seats 72 people and serves food like vegan club sandwiches and chocolate cupcakes. The restaurant took over a year to build since they wanted to ensure that all of the original pieces remained in the plane. Outside of the plane there is ample table seating as well.
