Utah’s ski resorts are getting an influx of visitors after the area received two feet of snow over the holiday weekend.
Ski Utah reported that the Eagle Point ski resort received almost four feet of new snow and that Brian Head received just over three feet. New Ogden and Salt Lake City the reported totals were somewhere around 19 to 26 inches of snow.
Even the lower elevations got in on the action with eight inches of snow from the storm, which made this year the second snowiest Christmas on record.
All this snow allowed the Cherry Peak ski resort to open for its second season. Cherry Peak is Utah’s newest ski resort and the 14th overall.
