The island of Bonaire has opened a hotel that’s essentially a glamping resort. Glamping of course is the fun word created for glamour camping, which retains elements of roughing it, while not giving up the comfortable amenities of a hotel or other luxury lodging.
Red Palm Village features rooms that are a mixture between a bungalow and a tent, and have shutter doors that can turn them into indoor/outdoor living spaces instantly.
There are ten chalets on the property that have full living rooms, kitchens, two bedrooms, and bathrooms with rain showers. Then there are ten semi-detached studios as well.
One awesome thing about this resort are the prices. The two-person lodge rates start at $70 a night, and the four-person lodges start at $150 a night.
The resort also has two pools, a jacuzzi, a bar, and the Red Palm Pool Restaurant that is open to both guests and the general public.
The island of Bonaire has been nicknamed the “diver’s paradise” for the awesome scuba diving options that are easy to access all over the island.
