The SeaWorld parks are making some big changes come 2017. The Orlando and Texas locations will soon some big announcements about what this means, but many of the changes have already been discussed.
The SeaWorld in San Diego will be officially doing away with is One Ocean show that featured killer whales, following a lot of bad press over the past few years about the living conditions of the animals. They will be replacing the killer whales show with a more educational show about “naturalistic behaviors.”
The SeaWorld in San Antonio is launching a new roller coaster ride where you stand on a jet ski to ride, and they are rumors that they might be launching a big children’s festival to join their popular Bands, Brew, BBQ and the Seven Seas Festival. They also are thought to be opening the first SeaWorld hotel at this location, as well as introducing a new shark exhibit.
The Orlando based SeaWorld is also thought to be adding to their festival line up and overhauling some of their current attractions.
All three of the parks are supposed to be starting some new night shows, and the SeaWorld company is also introducing some new partnerships that should be taking everything in a slightly different direction.
